Ultimately, I think we're going to need to shift away from employer-sponsored health insurance coverage. It's getting to be too costly for the employers. And, honestly, is it really their responsibility? Shouldn't we be responsible for our own health, and our own health insurance? I understand that an employee's health ultimately impacts the company - that's why so many companies are offering incentives to employees who lose weight or stop smoking, etc... So, I can understand if companies want to give their employees some sort of incentive to purchase health insurance, but should it really be their responsibility to provide it? I don't think so.
